
This wine has been selected from a specific estate along the Algairen mountains where the mild and fresh micro-climate allow it to develop the aromatic potential of the Macabeo grape due to slow grape ripening. Macabeo is also a native Spanish grape.
Our Macabeo was fermented for 25 days in new French oak barrels thus adding a complexity and character unlike most Macabeo wines. This is a very passionate wine with vibrant tropical and citrus fruit aromas balanced by crisp acidity and a creaminess that showcases the 25 days of barrel aging.
