Corona de Aragón Disparates de Goya is a special and limited collection of varietals that allows one to explore and discover the essence of each varietal that grows in our D.O. : Macabeo, Merlot, Garnacha, Syrah, Tempranillo and the unique Cariñena.

VINEYARD AND WINEMAKING INFORMATION

There has been an exclusive selection of vineyards within our estates due to their exceptional quality. We chose them based on these features:

• A top soil covered with stones, pebbles and sand which thoroughly limit water and impedes a vigorous growth. The result is a very low yield per vine thus obtaining smaller and more concentrated berries.
• Very old vines which endows us with equal ripening and flavor expression within the grapes.
• Windy areas which assist in the prevention of bugs and disease development amongst the vines thus reducing the need for phytosanitary practices.
• Medium to high altitudes resulting in a slower ripening which enhaces the aromas and color in the varietals.

Along with meticulous vineyard selection we concentrated on a thorough winemaking process in order to intensify the flavors and aromas of each varietal, producing wines with great character and complexity. This is how we work at our state-of-the-art winery:

• The grapes are harvested at dawn to keep grapes fresh until they arrive at the winery.
• The grapes undergo cold maceration prior to fermentation so as to impart the full potential of each varietal into the finished wine.
• The white wine, made from the Macabeo grape was fermented a second time in oak barrels and later macerated for a month on the lees otherwise known as "sur lie".
• Our red wines went through malolactic fermentation in the barrel along with brief aging in oak. We bottled the wine unfiltered thus keeping the up most integrity and essence of the wine.

Just 18 miles from Cariñena there is a small village called Fuendetodos, homeland of the eternal painter Francisco de Goya, that gives shelter to one of the most original and exclusive collection of artworks - Disparates de Fuendetodos. This is a compilation where the best contemporary artists in Spain express the new vision of today's art as well as continuing the most creative, mysterious, and unfinished sequence of artworks by Goya known as: Disparates de Goya.

Corona de Aragon Disparates de Goya was born to be an exclusive collection of art within the world of wine. There is nothing better than dressing up our wines with a selection from the Disparates de Fuendetodos collection: artworks from Mariano Rubio, Joaquín Capa, Fernando Bellver, Monirul Islam Patwary, Antonio Lorenzo and Enrique Maté adorn the labels used in this outstanding varietal collection.

As a treasure's chest we have designed a stylish box for six bottles, representing one of each of the varieties planted in our estates.
