Corporate Social Responsibility also forms part of the Bodega's Strategy and an active programme is being developed with the Down's Syndrome Foundation of Zaragoza, whereby a collaboration agreement exists to support their adapted Professional Training programmes, by means of which work assistants are contracted to help companies adapt their jobs to suit the needs of people with learning disabilities, to guide them on the best ways of integrating people into their workforce and, they give on-site teaching to the workers showing them how to perform their duties.
Alongside this agreement, a joint Project has been designed, the "Vino Solidario" which donates all its sales profits to different programmes of the Foundation.
The New Technologies of the Foundation (computers, computer programmes, Internet operation and digital blackboards) and the Medical-Sports Research Development to improve the Health of People with Learning Disabilities are the two programmes that have benefited from this new joint Project to date.
Carlos Pauner, our most international Aragonese mountaineer and little Gabriel, also formed part of the Photography Exhibition in our barrel plant: "Sport and Disability: Aragonese Sportsmen", another Project that the Bodega is involved in to gain funds for the Sports School of the Foundation.
Agreements and Projects, these are the reasons why the Foundation presented the Bodega with the AWARD at its 2nd Company Gala in public recognition of its personal and professional work for the Rights of People with Learning Disabilities. An AWARD that fills us with pride and drives us on daily to continue strengthening our Social Responsibility policy.
