Corona de Aragón was one of the biggest Kingdoms of the Mediterranean in the late Middle Ages, spanning from the east of Spain to the south of Greece, an area with a wine-producing tradition par excellence, encompassing the group of territories that were under the jurisdiction of the King of Aragon, from 1164 to 1707.
One of its most remarkable Kings was Jaime I The Conqueror, who narrated his life, conquests and heroic deeds autobiographically in his Chronicle or book of deeds. The oldest conserved manuscript is from 1343, in which Jaime I was very explicit when expressing the purpose of his "memoirs": "... per tal que los hómens coneguessen quan hauríem possada aquesta vida mortal ço que nós hauríem fet" (... so that people know, once we leave this life, what we have bequeathed to this world).

As well as the generic range of young wines, crianza, reserva and gran reserva, the brand completes its collection of varietal wines, CORONA DE ARAGÓN DISPARATES, and its collection of designer wines, ANAYÓN, both with limited production and only made during exceptional vintages.
Unique wines in a unique and exclusive bottle from this brand, the winner of the 1st International Bottle Design Competition, designed by André Ricard, National Design Award, whose work was summarised perfectly by Pierluigi Cattermole, one of the members of the judging committee " ...a new reading of something as traditional as the Burgundy bottle and altering it to make the neck more noticeable with an exquisitely elegant shape".
